The Abused Muse

John. 23. Vancouver, Canada.
And these are my posts of stuff TOO COOL for the Internet.

There was a period of time where

I would watch Food Network shows CONSTANTLY. Like, I would spend hours watching shows like Good Eats, Iron Chef: America, Food Network Challenges, etc.

So much that one night, I had a dream where there was an Iron Chef competition, but they were only allowed to make cakes.

And there was fanfare and everything, like how the show normally goes.

The part I remember most was when the Chairman went, “Today’s secret ingredient is….

MAYONNAISE!”

I could only imagine cakes with a mayo filling.

I thought to myself in the dream: These are going to be the worst tasting cakes ever.

  3. erinairout said: I made cookies with mayo once, and they were surprisingly good! It’s just a fat substitute, I mean, it has eggs and oil which you’d be using otherwise, right?
  4. technicallyamonster said: Actually, you know, some older recipes for chocolate cake call for mayonnaise. Mmm, disgusting.
